Dear Sirs,
This is Marin Ivanov from Bulgarian town Dimitrovgrad, writing to you. On Saturday, June 19 in Alex/polis, during the local Beach volleyball tournament, I met and had a chance to talk to ........(ΛΕΣΧΗ ΠΕΤΟΣΦΑΙΡΙΣΗΣ ΑΛΕΞ/ΠΟΛΗΣ). The subject of the short talk was, if it is possible to establish a contact between The Volleyball clubs of Alexandroupolis and Dimitrovgrad. If you look at the Map you will find Dimitrovgrad 15 km north of Haskovo, the capital of our region. The distance between our cities is about 250 km. Our city is about 50,000 of population. Volleyball is traditional sport for us. We had a team playing in the elite league, but now we speak about Youth volleyball teams, boys and girls, age up to 18.
On my return back to Bulgaria, I reported to the Chief coach of our team, Mr. Petar Tashev about my contact with you and he accepted the idea with pleasure. He decided to organize a tourist's travel for the group of young volleyballers(boys and girls), for one day to Alexandroupolis on Saturday, July 3.
They would like to see the City, the beach and the play grounds.
If you have time, we could meet shortly to see each other and to talk about our possible future relationships.We hope that Greece and Buigaria as a members of EU, could develop the neighbourship' contacts successfully.
